I have always loved the art of story. From the first time I read C.S. Lewis, L.M. Montgomery, and many other favorite authors, I fell in love with the magic that can be created through the written word.
Following my childhood passion for creativity, I earned a degree in creative non-fiction and Spanish Literature. My coursework took me to Granada, Spain, where I began my first blog. It may still exist somewhere in the deep places of the internet.
In 2007, I left behind the overcast beauty of the Pacific Northwest and followed the sun to California. I spent six years as an administrator, content writer, and editor for a global Christian ministry. During that time, I helped develop and edit copy for both digital and print, including online curriculum, web content, newsletters, marketing material, and promotional scripts.
My experience taught me the value of writing for clarity while maintaining the unique voice of the organization I served. Now, as a freelance writer, editor, and ghostwriter, I love getting to know my clients and ensuring the essence of who they are is represented in the words I use.
I began editing and ghostwriting books in 2011 and have since helped many clients fine-tune their work and develop their stories into publishable manuscripts. I occasionally publish my own work in the midst of helping others with theirs. My writing and editing can be found in publications around the world.
Feel free to contact me to chat about your favorite author or to discuss your next project. I’m either on my computer, listening to my husband’s tunes, or curled up with a good book in my home in Gig Harbor, WA.
